A Frigid Tuesday Evening.

It is currently 4 degrees out, with a wind chill of -13 and yes we are going out to shoot. **edit-> It was actually -11 - -19 where we went. No wind chill figured in**

On nights like this it is not impossible to shoot, but you do need to have a plan. It is too cold to walk around looking for a certain spot or angle, but there are a few choices. We can plan to shoot near area we shot before. Either one that we missed in the past, or one that needs to be re-shot. If that does not work out, there is nothing wrong with driving around to areas less traveled, scouting new areas for future shooting. It helps to keep notes about areas so if you ever have a shooters block, you can look back and possibly be inspired once again..

On cold nights like this, there is one major thing that is very helpful for shooting. It is very clear out and you can see easily over long distances.

What is our goal tonight?

You'll see soon enough,
D
