A bit from the past.

A birds eye view of West Utica taken in the Fall of 2007:

Here is a photo from the summer of 2007 which I have yet to post. This is one image out of many from a place some of us knew so well (but most forgot about):

.. and with springs arrival here is a touch of the distressed photography we truly enjoy. Expect more of this now that the snow is on the way out (or is it?).

Spring is here and although it does not seem like it much yet....

... soon it will be time to photograph Utica NY with the use of warm and comforting sunlight.

For now a few without:

Happy Easter Everyone!

I know we have been a bit undercover and I apologize for our absence. As we catch up with a few projects we have been given and now that our new business cards are done and in our hands it is time to get back into making our visitors up to date and happy.

BTW if you are interested in contacting us, email me and I will pass on our business phone number.

For now, a new picture of the main entree I cooked for an Easter dinner:

More new images tomorrow!

St. Patrick's Day Parade (Weekend) in Utica - 2008!

The decent weather did attract many people to Genesee Street for the parade and there were plenty of attendees showing off for the crowd.

It was great to see some of the past grand marshals, some Utica TV celebrities and of course the new mayor. Congratulations to the Mayor for getting Utica in the running to get a possible new business to move into Downtown! Don't think for one minute that people do not appreciate the push for this (AND for the protection of our historic buildings).

Below are a bunch of shots from the Parade on Saturday morning. There are currently 30 in the gallery which you can visit by clicking any of the images below.

Also, at the bottom of the parade images are two photos of the Easter Bunny at Chester's Flowers from this afternoon.

Today i went under the laser.

I am just reporting back to everybody that my surgery went well this morning. For all of you who don’t know, I had my tonsils out. I am a bit sore but I'm sure I will feel better as each day passes. I still have not received my motherboard back from the company I sent it back to. I am pretty bummed about this because I have a lot of organizing I wanted to do on it with my photos. Hopefully it will be in early next week and I can start working on that, along with adding more photos from the past couple weeks.

I’m sure that most of you know that the officer Lindsay Trial is going on. D and I do have several photos from the night that this happened. I am planning on posting more of these photos also when I get my personal computer back up and running.

Here is one of my photos from that night. If you click on the photo it will take you to my gallery were there are a few more photos from this night.

Also one of D's photos from the same night. You can also click on the photo to be linked to D gallery containing more photos from this night.

Below is the first infrared image I have taken since college. A very basic shot as it was only a test shot and I will be out shooting more of this with the recent change in time.

More outdoors in Central NY!

Living in the Mohawk valley always leaves the opportunity for a beautiful sunset:

At the top of the site you will now see a new Skyline picture of Utica..

... soon there will be more as I am planning on making this a rotating banner which will show a random banner image each time you visit the site.

There are a few other things up our sleeves too, but we like to live, talk and tease from the shadows...

Chat soon,

OH NO!!!

My computer has gone down again. I ordered parts for my computer the other day to fix an on going problem that i have been having. The good news is the parts came. however the bad news is the video card was dead on arrival. This renders me with no ability to see what my computer is doing and also can not see if I have any other problems. hopefully if all goes well i should be back up and running some time next week. I am planning on making a post once my computer is fixed and have access to my files. Check out some of my older work if you have not done so.
