Went back out tonight for some unfinished business.

L and I were out earlier than our normal night shooting (9pm) causing questions from the people who were still out and about. They were generally asking if we were with the OD and giving us a general thumbs up. We were even instructed by a younger Russian kid about how the gold dome on the Saving Bank of Utica (I know it is now partners trust, but it will always be SBU to me) should have been painted correctly. He even knew how to do it right, to which I replied, "Just stop in tomorrow morning and tell them all about it."

Anyway, I just wanted to keep everyone up to date. We did shoot, but I am not posting my new pictures until I finish setting L up.

Sorry to babble, I'm beat.

'Til tomorrow,
D

Things went well IMO.

Other than breathing on the tripod head turning the head into frozen condensation and blowing snow all over our lenses, it seems that we did OK.

I still have to set L up for an account ( ... and T.... and B), which I will do tomorrow so he can post his pictures from tonight.

For now, here are three of mine from this evening:

L and I are going to shoot tonight.

Wish us luck, it's 18° out.

The weekend has passed.

Most of us spent the weekend out of the cold and just hanging out with friends. We are still trying to plan a gallery so it will be fast and easy to organize. If anyone has any ideas, please leave a comment.

Here is a Picture from when L and I (J came too) went out last week. It was -19 degrees but at least there was NO wind. Motivation is hard to come by when it is this cold.

Things are moving along.

The site is up and running, but we are still assembling a crew to help keep things up to date and active. There will be three more contributors, B, L and T (not like the sandwich) joining this site over the next few days. To the right the links to each of our galleries will eventually point to our personal online portfolio. This will encompass whatever we want. Hopefully by the weekend, those links will become active.

Time will tell,

Glad to be on the site

What? Why? Where? Welcome!

What?
The sites name is simple, we do a lot of night photography, often catching shadows, sometimes our own.

Why?
We are always traveling around NY and beyond looking for unique places or things to photograph. From old abandoned factories, to City skylines. From roof tops, to underpasses. From downtown's to forests. We strive to create art which is sometimes different from the norm.

Where?
Most of us are located in and around Utica N.Y. but also travel to where ever we feel like shooting.

Welcome,
D
